Team Animalife riders have really been out in force over the haf term!

Victoria Turner has been training hard over the winter and attended a BYRDS Equitation Scheme Training Day last November where they picked up some very useful tips for training at home. Their first outing this year was very successful where they came away with a 1st in the Prelim and a 1st in the Novice. They then headed out to Northallerton Equestrian Centre which was the preliminary round for the Pony Club Dengie Winter League Championships. They ended up coming 3rd after Ruby was a bit spooky in her test, however that meant they have qualified for the Pony Club Dengie Winter League Area Competitions which are in March. Victoria also recently took and passed my BHS Stage One Exam.

Jade Grantham has been out with her horse Appollo, won his jumping class today after doing a fantastic round.

Amber Knott and Pennal Zedan have been busy schooling and training for Dengie Winter League Dressage and the Eventing season this year!

Charlotte Carlisle has been out jumping with both her boys, coming 3rd with Blaze and 4th with Ricky in the 1m class at Aintree.

Hannah Pearce and Dougal have been out to Bovington for some final show jumping training before the season begins! They also had a lovely morning in the sun cross country schooling in Pontispool's fantastic arena, with Dougal enjoying his new Team Animalife saddle cloth!

Grace Cleary has been out cross country schooling on her new horse Future over the half term! Grace said she was a star and calmed all her nerves completely.

Charlotte Mason riding Shades of Silver came 3rd over the weekend at Aston Le Walls in the novice.

Lou Rigby sent us an update of what she has been up to recently. Sadly she lost her wonderful horse Mr Pickle last year after some fantastic times with him. However she has been lucky to find a wonderful mare to have on loan and they have already represented their riding club in the area showjumping and have plans for BE and a 2 day event soon. Good luck Lou.
