Ellie Secker & Max (pictured bottom left) - I haven't been able to go out for a while due to exams and also our trailer needing repairs. But last month Max and I went to the BRC Area 18 dressage qualifier and came away with two individual 1st places and two team 1sts as well!! This means we have qualified to go to the BRC National Championships at Lincoln in September - which I'm very excited about :) We then had a very good day in the 80cm class to produce a dressage of 34.8 which I was pleased with due to the hard ground (which was also rather slippy) causing a few slips. We then got our first ever clear show jumping round!! It's take a long time but I think we are finally getting the hang of the SJ side of things... Very good day out!

Anastacia Robinson had a good run at a very hot Dauntsey (pictured top) - Back home from a very hot Dauntsey Park Horse Trials (BE)!!! Lades ran well in the Novice despite the heat - I'm grateful to have a TB on days like this! The dressage was much improved from our last outings but I felt like it was harshly marked for 35. We did a lovely SJ round with 3 tiny touches which I'm so disappointed about but much improved..I think Lades likes to knock at least 3 down every time out!! The technical and bold XC course was great fun and Lady flew round with a few time penalties. Overall a great day it's just a shame the result doesn't reflect our performance. Definitely one of my favourite events - thank you to all at Dauntsey and all volunteers!

Natalie Benson took Vegas to the Jays Equestrian Centre last weekend and won the 1.05m Open. Photo attached of us in action bottom right.
