Trevor Breen is on some fine form in Spain with his string of younger horses. They're sure to be the ones to look out for in the coming years - there may even be another Hickstead Derby winner among them (here's hoping!)

Here's our faves -

  • Enterprise - Finishing 3rd in the Silver Tour 1.40m Grand Prix was 8 year old Enterprise (pictured), a horse whom produced two faultless rounds in a strong, fast class. They crossed the line just 2 seconds behind the winner. They also jumped a super double clear in the warm up class, the 1.35m.
  • Zilton - One of the 3 young horses that jumped clear all week - Zilton produced a great double clear in the 6 year olds
  • Get Off - Another 6 year old to jump a fantastic double clear in the 6 year old class. Get Off was equal first in the CSI3* Sunshine Tour in Spain last March as a 5 year old so is certainy heading the right way!
  • Feliano B - The gorgeous grey gelding out of Zirocco Blue, jumped double clear in the 7 year old class having won the 6 year old class in Lummen last April. Since then, the pair have gone on to
  • Escapae H - One of the 8 year olds who has recently jumped a perfect clear in the Gold 1.30m in Spain.
  • Bombay - Great finish for 3rd in the 1.45m world ranking class in Spain at the beginning of February. This horse is regularly in the placings with a consistent record. Definitely one to watch.

Trevor's horses are clearly all feeling on top form, thanks to the addition of Animaife supplements in their diet.

"We've used Vetrofen and Vetroflex on our horses for years now - the results speak for themselves," Trevor explains. "Animalife are a dynamic company who really understand the importance of targetted nutrition for the performance horse."

Watch this space for the future Hickstead Derby winner - you heard it here first!
