Hi Animalife! I thought i would introduce myself and my horses to you. My name is Lillie Caluori, I am 15 years old, and have been riding for just about 5 years.

I am out competing in BSJA seniors. I currently own 2 horses, Jack and Dora. Jack is a 16hh Irish Sports Horse, he has successfully competed in Ireland up to 1.40 and won many Grand Prixs. I am currently competing him in 1.10's and just started 1.20's.

This year I plan to jump the children on horses at SCOPE Festival. My overall main aim is to go on to jump European Viewing Trials for the GB Junior Rider team and try and qualify for HOYS in the silver league. Dora is a 16.1, 11 year old warmblood, we bought her from Holland and she hadn't done anything apart from being a broodmare, she has just started her bs career with me and showing a huge amount of potential! I also have the pleasure of riding other horses. I have represented the Dorset Team in the National Junior Academy Championships at Weston Lawns.

I have also jumped for my school, Bournemouth School for Girls gaining us a 5th place out of about 20 Schools. I have competed at Alexanders Horseboxes/Scope Festival (UK) Supreme Championships, one of the most prestigious events in the Showjumping calendar which hosted International CSI 2* & AMb (Amateur Rider) in 2015 alongside the (UK) Supreme Championships, gaining 2 double clears and a 20th and a 21st place out of 150 starters.

Next year I am aiming to put myself forward onto the AASE team, An apprenticeship scheme allowing talented riders between the ages of 16-18 to gain recognised qualifications whilst developing their ridden skills. Includes training camps throughout the year which are a combination of written work and ridden training from top coaches.

Each cohort are on the programme for 1 year. I have also planned many shows and qualifiers this year, and I will begin to jump at international shows and classes.
