So, Flash and I had a fantastic weekend at Somerford park for the Area 5 Riding Club Camp.
We meet lots a new friends - and I can now put names to the faces, of many people who I see at competitions.
Before I continue, I need to thank everyone who organised such a fantastic camp. It was very well organised, with many great instructors and activities to keep us all entertained, as well as having a Horse and Hound photographer there to capture us in action (who also helped the winning quiz team by answering most of the questions!). And to Somerford park for letting us loose on their facilitates.
Flash and I had the opportunity to work on our Showjumping, with some grid work as well as course jumping.
I am also proud to say that I booked a Dressage lesson over a cross country session. But it paid off, as I mastered my sounder-in.
Though, we did manage to squeeze in a cross-country lesson. And had a amazing time. Of course!
We also did some pilates, both on the ground and in the saddle.
Needless to say, after an action packed weekend, I didn't perform to my best on Monday morning at work.
While the horse enjoys himself in the field (and well earned, too).
